Become A Mermaid
mermaid song

To become a mermaid or a triton is very simple.

All you need is love for the ocean and for the living beings there. Respect for all and a desire to help and to protect. This is what it means to be a mermaid or a triton on a spiritual level.

As a member of Mermaids 4 Cetaceans, you will be part of a global movement of spiritual activism (or sacred activism), to awaken the heart connection that all humans have inside, in order to love and protect our ocean, its inhabitants and ultimately, our planet.

All you need to do is take the mermaid's pledge.
This is our core belief and the sacred code of conduct we follow.

facebook page image

We have a Facebook page which is updated daily during the season in Taiji (Japan) and almost every day otherwise.

Due to recent FB changes, make sure you click ‘get notifications’ and ‘see first’ to see our page. Like, comment and share if you like a post in order to spread the love and information about the ocean and its creatures.

We never share images of gore (it lowers energy quicker than anything else) although we share even difficult information in a positive manner.

Mermaid Lizette is our Twitter Goddess. She tweets regularly about petitions, tweet storms and issues concerning the oceans. Sometimes with petitions difficult pictures are attached to them, and we apologise if some pass through our safety net.

We also have some boards on Pinterest where we share information on activism, mermaids etc. When news about the oceans or the world of animals is too depressing, going on Pinterest and looking at beautiful art and things can raise our vibrations again.

Like many non profit groups, we rely on the generosity of people who are as passionate as we are about the ocean and its creatures.

We are grateful for donations using Paypal. Thank you!

Spiritual Activism
And if you really want to help the cetaceans, particularly during the Grind in the Faroe Islands or, in the Taiji season and other issues like stranding etc, then perhaps you might want to become a spiritual activist
